Here at Czech Working line, we are German Shepherd Dog breeders exclusively raising working line German Shepherds! Our commitment is simple. No comprise on health or temperament. Selecting for temperament and health, we never mix in show lines with our Schutzhund titled working lines. Our goal is simple. We are looking to produce litters that are super easy to train. Smart dogs with great health and longevity.

We specialize in highly trainable dogs with a great off switch!  A good family protection must be great with kids and the family! If you have been searching for a working line German Shepherd puppy for sale, and want a dog with solid nerves and calm temperament that will fit well in a family context, you have come to the right place. With six of our own children, we don’t own a dog that isn’t family friendly. We believe the foundation to a great trained guard dog is a dog that is calm, not fearful or timid, and can turn it off when inside with the family. Dogs with a great off switch are the cornerstone of our breeding program.

Are you looking for a good family protection dog? Our dogs will excel as trained guard dogs and as Schutzhund sport dogs. Our aim is to build on the shoulders of some of the great German Shepherd breeders of the past, to produce the next generation of world class working line German Shepherd puppies. To do this we are only use IGP titled Schutzhund stud dogs with superior hips and elbows that are DNA tested. We are only use Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) clear stud dogs.

Whether male or female in our breeding program, all our breeding stock come from titled working lines. Period. No exceptions. Our goal is to have 95% plus of dogs going back 5-8 generations in every pedigree as having passed their Schutzhund exams. Virtually every dog in a pedigree has to have passed high level obedience, tracking and protection exams— for many generations— for a dog to be considered in our breeding program. One of the key elements of what sets our dogs apart is excluding dogs that don’t come from proven pedigrees where all across the pedigree dogs have proven themselves by passing objective testing.

All our foundational stock are all from imported, Czech, DDR, and west German working lines. Every pedigree is packed with IGP titled dogs. Our focus is on healthy working line GSDs that are easy to train with a history of longevity. Our puppies are raised with children in a family context.

The working line German Shepherd is the ideal protection dog. Our puppies have been selected from lines that produce litters that are really easy to train. Quick learners, our dogs excel in both obedience and protection work. Our IGP 3 titled stud Querro is an exquisite example of what we strive to produce in our next generation. It’s like Christmas for our family every time someone with one of our puppies sends us a photo that looks like a little mini-me Querro.
