With the highest commitment to health, we only use DM clear (N/N) studs. Each adult has been carefully selected from pedigrees demonstrating a proven aptitude for obedience, tracking and protection. Shying away from roach back dogs, we rigorously select for the "old world style." Any time we offer a German Shepherd puppy for sale, know this: we only use dogs from IGP, Schutzhund titled, pedigrees! As GSD breeders, we specialize in Czech, Slovakian and DDR bloodlines. Building on some of the world's top ranked protection dogs, our mission is to produce a better and better quality working line German Shepherd puppy for sale every time.
IGP titled bloodline puppies are bred from dogs that have earned titles in IGP (Internationale Gebrauchshunde Prüfungsordnung), which is an international triathlon dog sport that includes tracking, obedience, and protection phases. Our foundation stock are built on IGP titled pedigrees where virtually every dog in the pedigree has demonstrated a proven ability as highly biddable (very responsive to training). On top of being highly sensitive to training, parents, grandparents and great grandparents are further proven in their ability to track and do protection work. Our dogs are further selected for a strong off switch. When it is time to come in the house, they can turn of that can do protection attitude and chill out on the couch with our kids. With six children ourselves, and lots of friends in and out of our house, we put a lot of stock in a dog’s of switch. Good nerves in our dogs is an absolute must in every litter.
DM clear (N/N) studs typically indicates that the stud dogs are clear of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), which is a genetic disorder that affects the spinal cord in dogs. The “(N/N)” notation refers to the result of a genetic test for the DM gene. Dogs that are “N/N” have tested negative for the mutation associated with DM, meaning they do not carry the gene responsible for the disorder. This information is important for breeding purposes to ensure that offspring are not at risk of inheriting the disease.
Working Line Pedigrees refers to the lineage or ancestry of dogs bred specifically for work-related purposes, such as herding, protection, or police work.

GSDs bred to work and perform are in the purest sense the original representation of the breed. Sporting a much straighter topline (than the many lines with the exaggerated roach back), we work to emphasize health and trainability in our lines. We shouldn’t be surprised to find this true. Whereas show lines often springs from a “do I look pretty look,” working lines have for generations been selected to endure the harsh rigors of cold and heat while sustaining long hours of work under harsh conditions. Only top prospects survived this often grueling work environment. Our dogs love our family in ways nearly incomprehensible. We routinely find them pushing their muzzle onto our laps during our morning coffee. This loyalty is part of what makes them special as protection dogs, especially in home protection. They love the people whom they claim as family. And woe to those who come between them and their family. Czech Shepherds
Opinions regarding which working lines are the best differ. Some prefer Czech Shepherds. Others prefer Slovakian Shepherds. And others from their country of origin. A good argument can be made that each of these countries has contributed immensely to the breed. Therefore, examining individual pedigrees will likely provide the greatest insight as to whether a particular bloodline will meet your particular needs. The key factor in choosing a pup starts with near term parentage. What traits are dominant in a dog’s pedigree? How serious are these dogs? How strong is the off switch? This off switch is something we are actively selecting for in each of our litters of Czech German Shepherds for sale.
Slovakian Shepherds
As active dogs, the Slovakian shepherds— like other working lines— thrive in an environment where they have plenty of access to sunshine and the outdoors. They love to run; most love to swim. On our ranch, one of our dogs’ favorite pastimes is swimming in our ponds and retrieving sticks. We can hardly get through the pasture gates before they are ahead of us on the way to the water. With wagging tails, you can see they are beside themselves and having fun. Incredibly loyal, you will find these dogs will develop an amazing bond with your family. Even the highly trained protection dogs can turn that switch off, and when with their family they crave attention. They will love you and if they have their way, will be adopted into your family as another member! naturally excel as service dogs, search and rescue, drug and explosive detection, and protection— whether in the home or something more serious. Alsatian Shepherds
Following World War 1, the British popularized the name “Alsatian Shepherds,” a description of the border area of Alsace-Lorraine between Germany and France. This name gained such popularity that the breed’s name was nearly changed. The rationale was a move to mitigate anti-German rhetoric. This alternate name gained official status and was used until 1977 when a petition was made and granted to reinstate the original name. Had it not been for this petition, the GSD breed would be known by a very different name. Many people within the United States are unaware of this historic name change. But for many parts of the world, this name, Alsatian Shepherd, remains popular to this day. With a love for this breed, it can be fun to learn of our breed’s history and the twists and turns along its journey. Our commitment is to further the breed by producing dogs consistent with the historical values of why the breed was developed. Committed to ensuring every German Shepherd puppy for sale we offer is one of the highest caliber dogs available anywhere within the USA— or even the world requires objective testing. This is one of the main reasons why we don’t include show lines in our breeding program, but exclusively limit ourselves to tested lines and dogs. By tested we mean pedigrees stacked with proven, titled parentage: proven in protection, tracking and obedience. Unlike a typical show context where the focus is conformation (which dog looks the closest to the breed standard) our path requires pedigrees where the focus is primarily one of capacity to perform. How does the puppy (or adult) perform in obedience? Is the dog a bundle of nerves? Is it overly stubborn. Is he/she responsive to training? Is there a demonstrated high capacity for learning tracking skills and protection? What about human aggression? Such a character flaw ought to be excluded with prejudice! Does the animal possess a clear off switch so that when it is not working it will switch back to expressing love and care towards the people it is around. Each puppy we offer is the result of careful planning. Our goal is to exceed expectations with each pup growing up to represent the highest expectations within the breed!
