We are only using true working line pedigreed dogs— never show lines!

Good Schutzhund dogs nearly always come from IGP titled breeding stock!

All our foundational stock come from imported Czech and German working lines chock full of IPO and IGP titled parentage. We never break this rule. Our goal is to have 95% plus of our dogs tracing back to pedigrees where nearly every dog in a given breeding dog has passed their Schutzhund, IGP exam. Many have passed not only IGP 1, but IGP 2 and IGP 3 exams.   One of the key aspects of our breeding program is the quality of our dog’s pedigrees. Highly titled Schutzhund pedigrees are just one of the key elements of what sets our dogs apart from the overwhelming majority of GSD breeders here in the USA. Our focus on producing world class Schutzhund puppies for sale means we start with the highest caliber dogs that have proven themselves through passing high level objective testing. 

Czech and DDR pedigrees.

Nearly all our dogs come from from IGP titled, Czech, DDR, and east German working lines. As we noted above, virtualy ever pedigree is packed not only with IGP titled dogs, we have scoured the globe to find some of the highest scoring dogs with a proven capacity to pass on these attributes. As any good GSD breeder will admit, there are many great dogs that are one hit wonders. They themselves are pretty great. But they lack the genetic capacity to consistently pass on this greatness. So great pedigrees are more than pedigrees full of titled dogs. They are pedigrees where the dogs in these pedigrees have proven highly consistent in passing along the ability to perform at the highest levels of Schutzhund obedience, tracking and protection work. Our focus is on producing great litters of Schutzhund prospects requires we start with GSDs that are easy to train.
